Kashmir 7N/8D tour package

Day 1: Jammu – Katra

Arrival at Jammu city by air / train from Delhi. You will be received by our representative and proceed to Katra by car. This distance is about 50 kilometers and is one hour drive from Jammu. Check in at the hotel. After rest trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine which is thirteen kilometers from this place. Return on same day night or next day depending on your trekking capabilities. Ponies can also be arranged for the trekking if required.

Helicopter tickets can also be arranges if required to visit the temple and return on the same day, Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu shrine dedicated to goddess Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Katra as applicable.

Day 2 : Katra – Patnitop


Departure to Patnitop from Katra. Patnitop is located on a hill top in Udhampur District on national highway 1A to Srinagar and is eighty kilometers from Katra and is a three hours drive from Katra.  Check in at hotel and overnight stay in Patnitop

Day 3 : Patnitop to Pahalgam

After breakfast proceed for Pahalgam which is a 7-8 hours drive from Patnitop among scenic beauty. Check in and overnight stay in Hotel

Day 4: Visit to Chandanwadi and Aru valley, and proceed to Srinagar

Visit Chandanwari the base camp of Amarnath Yatra and the aru Valley. In the afternoon proceed towards Srinagar which is a one and a half hour’s drive from this place.

Day 5: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

 After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing at Srinagar which includes Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Hazratbal Shrine, boating in Shikara in Dal lake  and Shankarcharya temple. Dinner and overnight stay in houseboat in Srinagar

Day 6: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast proceed for excursion to Gulmarg which is at a distance of 55 kilometers and takes about two hours to reach there. Gulmarg is world famous for its golf course and has one of the best ski slopes in the world. Visit to mountain peak in Gulmarg Gondola (ropeway) the highest cable car system in the world. The two-stage ropeway ferries about six hundred people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain at a height of 4,200 m, 13,780 ft above sea level. Enjoy snow and skiing here in all seasons. Dinner and overnight stay in houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 7: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast proceed for excursion to Sonmarg which is at a distance of about eighty five kilometers from Srinagar and is three hours drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg is primarily famous for its natural beauty in the form of glaciers, flora and fauna and dense pine trees. Overnight stay in houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 8: Departure

Transfer to Srinagar airport for return journey towards Delhi
