Driving instructions from Delhi to Haridwar
Total travel time by car will be around five hours
Start at New Delhi and travel 20 kilometers towards Mohan Nagar through Nizamuddin Bridge via Ghazipur Border & Dabar Chowk on national highway number 24. Travelling forward 13 Kms from Mohan nagar, at T Junction, take a right turn & then left turn from Ghaziabad border traffic light towards national highway number58.
Keep travelling on National highway 58. Cross Murad Nagar and Modi Nagar
Before entering Meerut City take left on to the Meerut Byepass to avoid the city rush
Travel through Khatauli and take right for Muzaffarnagar Byepass before Muzaffarnagar city again to avoid the city traffic saving time and fuel
Continue on the national highway and pass through Purkaji and Roorkee to reach Haridwar
New Delhi to Haridwar by Train
The Indian Railways has a railway station at Haridwar which is connected by trains from major cities of India. Reaching Haridwar by train is one of the most convenient and economical means. Trains from Ujjain, Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, Allahabad, Amritsar, Lucknow and Dehradun all ply regularly to Haridwar.
The New Delhi Haridwar Shatabdi Express train is the fastest train on this route. It takes just 4.5 hours to reach Haridwar. The train fare for AC chair car is Rs 435. Meals / snacks are served on board which are included in the total fare.
