Jet Airways International Baggage Allowance

All the jet airways flights allow their guest to carry single hand baggage. However the total limit of cabin baggage is that the bag should not exceed the dimension limit of 115 centimeters for domestic flights and 158 centimeters for international flights.

This is as per the weight concept described in jet airways international baggage allowance guidelines.

As per the regulations laid by Indian government only one piece of cabin baggage is allowed for a person on board with the maximum weight of 7 kgs. The free jet airways international baggage allowance is specified on the air tickets. The allowances are based on total number of bags or on weight.

For the international flights the jet airways international baggage allowance is a bit different from domestic flights. Keeping in mind the ease of the international guests the baggage limit is extended. However there are a few items that are not permitted as a part of hand baggage. The items include Alcohol, Gels, Liquids, Lotions, Creams, Sharp Articles, etc. Even if you carry the medicines you need to have the doctor’s prescription with you. The international guests who are arriving at Indian airports to transit to another country can take 100ml of liquid with them.

For all the international flights there are certain jet airways international baggage allowance guidelines which include:

  1. A single baggage exceeding the weight limit of 32 kgs will not be accepted.
  2. The baggage crossing free jet airways international baggage allowance limit will be charged for extra weight and as excess baggage.
  3. An infant having a personal seat can avail the same jet airways international baggage allowance as an adult guest.
  4. Free jet airways international baggage allowance can be availed only for some specified sectors of Jet Airways.

It is so confusing to know the baggage allowance for economy class from your web site. Please clarify what is the actual baggage allowance for economy class London-Hyderabad-London. Also cabin baggage details are not clear. I intend to travel London-Hyderabad-London. Is the same baggage allowance allowed during domestic flight part of the journey.
I notice that there is only 1Hr 55Mts for the connecting flight at Mumbai (to Hyderabad). Will I be able to catch the domestic flight in time? Your reply will be appreciated.
